Description
This sectioning on hazelhurst ave merging to North Ave needs speed humps. The intersections E Ladies Mile & Hazelhurst, Conway St & Hazelhurst Ave, Pilots Ln & Hazelhurst. There is obviously a problem if there are multiple accidents at the intersections of North Ave, Pilots Ln & Hazelhurst Ave, street parking with constant unattended vehicles getting hit and a lot of foot traffic. There are occasions where there is a speed monitor placed on this section of road but it doesn't solve anything.

- Staff · December 22, 2021Traffic calming is not planned on Hazelhurst Ave at this time. We have the appropriate regulatory and warning signs on Hazelhurst although two existing warning signs will be upgraded. DPW may consider low cost options to channelize the intersection with North Ave.
