Assess Existing Tree or Stump

REQUEST: Remove limbs of giant tree being taking down by Dominion. Large limbs are being left on our property. Tree is not on our property; however, the only other open space for limbs would block the alley. We wanted to do the best thing for RVA & our neighbors. We're hoping DPW will now help us. BACKGROUND: Tree was reported (DPW Ticket # 79070) because it was dangerous (30% dead & being attacked by Emerald Ash Borer). Tree is in the alley; limbs are now at 3322 Floyd AVE). Please remove. Trying to get more information. Your site states "assigned." What does that mean? Will there be another update once it's either looked at or resolved? Your website is very convoluted. I tried to email someone; however, the email links don't open. I'd like to communicate about what should be an important issue for RVA/DPW. Please advise. UPDATE (Fri 9/03/2021): Dominion has finished and will not be back. They left tons of tree trunk. The tree was about 200 feet tall so the trunk is huge. This is NOT our tree. Huge logs (too heavy to lift) left in our yard and alley as well. This alley needs DPWs help as soon as possible.
