Description

Please consider signage, speed bump, one-way street, or alternative methods to reducing traffic and/or speeding on Woodcliff Ave. It is used by many as a bypass to cut through to Brookland Park Blvd and the majority of cars easily exceed 50 mph on a 25 mph street. Furthermore, with more houses being built in this neighborhood it is exacerbating the need to switch this to a one-way street as more parked cars create a bottleneck to 2-way traffic.

DPW is not planning to install a speed table on Woodcliff given the short street and travel speeds but we can change the stop sign on Highland View at Woodcliff so that Woodcliff stops. Councilwoman Robertson must support this change because this would affect other neighbors. We can also make it one-way but that would more likely increase speeds. Councilwoman Robertson needs to support this too because many motorists would be impacted.
