Description
Between brook rd and lamont st. on Brookland Parkway cars speed and use the bike lane as an extra lane. We have an infant and cannot park in front of our house for fear of being hit. Our car mirror was knocked off and our neighbors car totalled recently. In addition, few years ago a fried was killed by another driver right across this intersection. If this is to continue to be a bike lane we need some sort of barriers up to protect the cyclists + to keep cars from using it as a speed lane.

- Staff · May 21, 2021Brookland Parkway has a good coverage of speed limit and warning signs. The bike lane design will be reviewed at the time of the next paving project.
