Description
This slip lane either needs to be closed, or have a speed table added. Perhaps this is an opportunity to re-envision the intersection. As a parent of small children, crossing this vast swath of pavement, with no ADA ramps, is terrifying. As a former meighbor of the Maggie Walker monument, closing the Brook slip lane was one of the safest changes made for the community. Theres just no reason for this.

- Staff · May 24, 2021DPW prepared a budget sheet for consideration in the annual CIP budget for installing curbs and green space for this large paved area but a CIP project was not approved. An all-way stop exists at Rennie and Loxley. There are no plans to close the slip lane.
