Description

Hi - a brand new no parking sign has been affixed in front of my home where I park. I understand why the curb needed a no parking close to the intersection sign - many people attempt to fit two cars in this spot. However, the placement of the sign (it did not receive it's own pole and was rather affixed to a light pole) bars parking for even one vehicle, which is NOT necessary for intersection visibility. Please move the sign up the block to its own pole to allow one car, not two, to park!

    I checked with the engineer that installed the No Parking signs. Several crashes have occurred here. The No Parking signs are appropriate for intersection sight distance. No changes are planned.
