- Staff · July 1, 2021Arborist response to citizen's inquiry: Michael Staton looked at this and set up the tree removals back in April of this year with our contractor. I looked at this location yesterday when the new ticket came in. The front tree will have to have a contractor perform the work due to utility wires. The side tree can be removed any time with no interference from utility lines. I will contact our contractor today and find out when both trees willbe removed. FYI, Michael never said that the trees would be removed by 6-30-21. He stated that the tree removals were on contract for fiscal year 2021. Will Shoup Municipal Arborist 804-646-6784 office
