Description
Signs placed in 2016 to accommodate the GRTC bus route that used to travel E. Clay Street, N 21st St, Princess Anne Ave to Mosby Street. GRTC bus re-routed in 2019 to Venable Street and no longer runs on these streets. On-street parking is needed to accommodate increased occupancy in duplexes and new high-rise apartment buildings on Mosby (renters in those buildings opt for street parking so they can avoid garage/parking. Increase visitation to Jefferson Park brings more cars that need to park.

- Staff · March 25, 2021The no parking signs installed a couple of years ago in the area of 2018 and 2020 Princess Ave was due to the curved intersection and the two crosswalks. We needed to keep the area clear of parked vehicles so motorists could see the pedestrians. No changes are planned.
