Description

The tree is too big for the location it occupies. The tree is too close to my 1840's historic home. The tree is just over 40 years old. The roots have penetrated my basement walls. During this last week of rain, I experienced leaking walls. So I scraped the paint and discovered tree roots in the bricks.

M Arborist, Michael Staton has talked with this resident many times in person and by phone. The tree has been contract pruned within the last 2 years and appears to be in healthy condition. City cannot remove a healthy tree by ordinance. Resident has been given information on how to apply for a variance to the municipal tree ordinance if they would like. complete
