Description
This message is sent on behalf of the address connected to this request as well as the many residents that share the 1400 block of N 29th St. I have lived at this residence for two years and have noticed cars using 29th St. as a raceway. I have witnessed vehicles traveling on this street exceeding 25 miles per hour and on many occasions upwards of 50 plus miles per hour. I have seen several car crashes and close calls involving pedestrians, city buses, mopeds, scooters etc. I also want to noted that speeders have come close to me as I have exited and or entered my vehicle. I have also noticed that many bike riders have come very close to being hit as well. This is a very dangerous stretch of road to say the least. Beginning at Nine mile road ( North) traveling toward “ S “ Street, I would like to request 4 way STOP signs. I would also like to request speed bumps on the North end of 29 St.This would slow the cars down, prevent accidents and save lives. Thank You, A proud and concerned citizen of the north end of Church Hill.
