Description
Good afternoon. I have a question as to who would I contact to come out to Fire Station 11 and make an assessment on some trees that are causing (or will be causing soon ) some issues with our fire station. We have a few that are in need of trimming at the least, but again, they need an assessment to see what would be the best course of action to take

- Staff · November 19, 2020M Below email was sent on 11 19 Thank you! We’ve discussed these trees before and they’re on a pruning cycle with Dominion due to their proximity to overhead utilities. I would recommend contacting Dominion directly to inquire when the next time they’ll conduct a “block prune.” City crews cannot work within 10ft of power lines per OSHA and ANSI standards. I looked at these trees recently and did not see anything that was immediately threateningto warrant us spending contract dollars on. Is there a specific hazard you’re concerned about? Thanks so much!
