Description

would like someone to evaluate the possibility of a speed bump being placed between the 3500th and 3600th block of Chapel Dr. There is a curve there and people speed through. Her mailbox has been taken out a number of times by speeders.

    Chapel Drive parallels McGuire Drive between Hopkins Road and E. Broad Rock Road. Speed tables exist on McGuire and do not on Chapel because the Fire Marshall did not support speed tables on both streets.Speed fine signs with an additional $200 fine are installed on Chapel. The Richmond Police Dept. has been notified about the speeding on Chapel. No further actions by DPW are planned at this time.
