Description

Need four way stop at intersection of Honaker Ave and Stuart Ave for speed control. Many use Honaker as a cut through from Patterson to Three Chopt and cars often exceed 35-40 mph in residential zone.

    DPW must use the conditions set forth in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for the installation of multi-way stops. The MUTCD conditions are mainly about a combination of traffic on the free flow street and the stopped street. The traffic volumes on Honaker and Stuart do not meet the MUTCD requirements for multi-way stop.
