Description

Hello, and thank you for repaving Seminary Avenue! We are concerned about the high speeds of traffic on our block (3800 block Seminary). Motorists regularly travel over 40 mph, and we have a number of kids that live here. I would like to request three speed tables to ensure the motorists reduce speeds the entire length of the block. It is used as a short cut for lights on Chamberlayne and Brook. Our block only permits parking on one side as well, unlike blocks north of us.

    The paving contractor plans to replace the speed table in the 3800 block of Seminary Ave. Additional speed tables on Seminary Ave must be justified by an engineering study and approved by the Fire Marshall. DPW will investigate.
