Description

Install pedestrian crosswalk/traffic light on Broad Street for cars turning right at the entrance to the ramp for 95. Pedestrians often enter the crosswalk single-file, which leads to backups and accidents on Broad Street as drivers yield (while heading northwest from Church Hill to downtown/the ramp).

    M The pedestrian crossing sign on westbound Broad St at the I-95 on ramp will be replaced. The crosswalks are in good condition. A hybrid pedestrian beacon is planned on Broad St at about 600’ west of Oliver Hill Way.
