Description
The northeast corner of the intersection of Brook Road & Westwood has a deep hole next to the sidewalk. I fell into it when I decided to change the direction of crossing based on a change in the light, and I stepped directly in after pausing at the intersection. I was in halfway up my shin or higher. The hole is at least 8 inches deep and goes under the sidewalk, so it would be very dangerous if someone moving more quickly tripped or fell. It could easily cause a broken leg or ankle.
