Description
This intersection is a disaster waiting to happen, and I request that you please send a traffic engineer out to review existing signage, traffic markings, visibility site lines, etc. Upon exiting the toll road, it is impossible to see the existing street signage, as it’s location is in a bunch of trees. (See photos). This results in hesitating, unsure, and unsafe drivers, who are often lost and making Dangerous maneuvers in the middle of the street. This part of Douglasdale is an entrance to two neighborhoods (Windsor farms and Rothesay), and is highly trafficked by those who live here, as well as drivers to the water treatment facility. Visibility over the arched bridge to the left is limited, and has been the site of many car collusion’s and near misses. There is inadequate signage from all three approaches to slow down, look for cars exiting the toll road, and impaired visibility. Please see my photos and my second request for signage further down Douglasdale.
