Description
There is only one stop sign between Meadow and S. Davis. So the stop sign is at the Meadow end then there are three unmarked intersections until S. Davis that allows drivers to build excessive speed before S. Davis. We need at least one more stop sign to break that sped up and make our neighborhood safer. I hope that you can find a way to get something done before someone gets hurt. This should align with the Zero city program.

- Staff · August 7, 2020he installation of all-way stops must comply with the warrants described in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This is for consistency purposes in all fifty states. The last seven years of crash reports do not reflect any reported crashes along Maplewood between Davis and Meadow. None of the intersections along Maplewood Ave between Meadow and Davis meet the MUTCD conditions for an all-way stop. DPW will install more 25mph signs.
