Description

Missing stop sign (Matoaka Road side of intersection) at the intersection of Libbie Avenue & Matoaka Road was replaced under request DPW000052744. The stop sign was replaced, and also a "All Way Stop" sign was installed on this post. This is not an "All Way Stop" intersection. The stop sign on Libbie Ave north bound is correctly marked with a "2-Way" sign. South bound traffic on Libbie Ave does not stop at this intersection. Several near miss accidents have occurred due to confusing signs.
