Description

The bike lanes on Brookland Parkway are constantly being driven in by cars. These bike lanes would be infinitely safer and more effective if they were re-painted and re-configured exactly like the new Brook Rd. bike lanes that have gone in.

    I sent this to the City Pedestrian, Bicycle and Trails Coordinator for comment.

    The cost of eradication and re-striping would be excessive and is not currently budgeted for to change the bike lane markings so we will look to accomplish a reconfiguration or other measures at the timeof paving.
