Description
There should be a stop sign on 18th Street and E Franklin. There is currently a faded cross walk, however, nobody follows the rules of the cross walk. I have almost gotten hit by cars speeding down the street. Once the new construction is completed, there may be busy traffic going to 17th street market and a stop sign will help the flow of traffic.

- Staff · June 30, 2020Sent to R/W Management to check since it is still under construction. A study for a stop sign will be done after project competition.
- Staff · August 20, 2020The intersection project is complete with brick paver crosswalks and cobblestone. All all-way stops must meet the conditions set forth in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The intersection of 18th St and Franklin St does not meet the MUTCD conditions. We will install No Parking signs on the intersection corners to increase sight distance.
