Description

This intersection of Orleans St. and Williamsburg Ave is a major pedestrian crossing point for people heading to the Pulse bus, the Capital Trail, and the shops and businesses around Rockett's Landing. I would like to see a pedestrian crossing signal considered for this intersection. Even the kind like parts of the capital trail have woud be better than nothing: the kind that just light up as a warning and don't have actual stoplights for oncoming traffic. Thank you for your consideration.

All traffic signals including pedestrian signals must meet the warrants outlined in the federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The intersection of Williamsburg Ave and Orleans St doesnot meet the MUTCD warrants.
