RVA 311 from Citizen: Good morning, Yesterday morning the city of Richmond removed the wrong tree from the front of our property. My wife is quite upset, as this tree was very large and provided shade and was very pleasant to look at with its vast canopy over the street and our front yard. I even spoke with the workers yesterday morning, and expressed how that tree had a couple dead limbs that needed taken off but the one I wanted removed was the smaller dead tree to the right (facing the house). My wife has drafted a few letters, and will be quite persistent. May I suggest that the city remedy the situation by quickly removing the dead tree, grinding the stumps ,and planting two replacement trees. In addition, the Claw busted through the mainline water cover which is now filled with water. I anticipate that this will somehow lead to issues with my water bill, but I certainly hope not.I know the city has a lot of bigger issues right now, but the least we could ask for is to fix this situation as best as possible quickly. There is no bringing back an 80-year-old ash tree. In addition, a call to my wife Jenny, at 804-986-1383 wouldbe appreciated Aaron Fox
