Description

Very large trucks servicing the restaurant and grocery store on Lafayette between Franklin St and Wythe St use Franklin St to go to Malvern Ave where trucks are prohibited. Please place signage or a traffic circle at the intersection of Lafayette St and Franklin St to stop this illegal and frequent traffic.

    Through truck restriction signs for Malvern Ave are placed on major roads such as Patterson Ave that typically carries 10,000 vehicles a day with larger trucks. These signs are not intended for minor streets where there is less truck traffic. We generally allow smaller trucks on all streets for local deliveries.
