the cover to a meter or valve has come off or been stolen and has left an open hole in the alley behind 3208 west grace street 23221. i have put a cone over it.

    Two water meter inlet service points at the east end of the funeral home's back entrance in the alley have been covered with asphalt. The request was called in and mistakenly given a complaint code of “Storm Basin MH Miss”, layman terms, a missing manhole cover. The caller, Mr. Hopkins, explained it was not a manhole cover but a water meter cover that was missing and during repairs was covered with asphalt. This information will be transferred to theproper division and closed out of storm water City Works.
