Description
PLEASE add more stop signs (or small traffic circles) in the fan district in east - west directions. When traveling north - south mostly between Broad St. and Cary St., drivers must inch into the middle of the intersection before they are able to see that there is no one coming. Very few streets have lights or 4-way stops to ensure safety of all drivers. Those who drive in east-west directions through the fan disregard the speed limits and put people at these intersections in danger.

This is in accordance with the warrant requirements in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Traffic circles aregenerally being phased out and replaced with speed tables. Please give the specific streets where speeding is of concern for further review.
