Description

Drivers frequently speed through this intersection traveling south toward Carrington Street. It is extremely dangerous because Q St is the corridor for many pedestrians from the Mosby Court area headed toward the commercial strip on 25th St, and I just witnessed a group of young men nearly hit by a car flying through this intersection. A four-way stop would be much safer for people in this neighborhood.

An engineering study is required before an all-way stop can be installed. This is in accordance with the warrant requirements in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The intersection of22nd St and Q St does not meet the MUTCD requirements
