Description
Paint a crosswalk & install a pedestrian crossing sign at the ramp for 195 off of Monument Ave., east of Hamilton St. With the 195 ramp on Cary Street closed, heavy traffic detours to this ramp. More people are walking on Monument making the intersection more dangerous. Please mark the pavement with a visible crosswalk. Install a flashing pedestrian crossing sign with a button to activate flashing lights when crossing. The intersection is very unsafe. It has been 4 months since my request. Why have you not painted the lines to clearly mark the crosswalk at this very dangerous intersection? You are almost done marking the new bike lanes on Malvern. Certainly you can take a moment (while you have the equipment just blocks away) to paint a crosswalk and install clear signage.
