Description

W. Ladies Mile has NO SIDEWALK from Edgewood to Chamberlayne, despite the fact that there is sidewalk on the north side of Ladies Mile from Edgewood to North Ave. There is AMPLE room on the north side of Ladies Mile for sidewalk all the way to Chamberlayne. People frequently walk in the road because there's no sidewalk and it's VERY dangerous. Just yesterday drove past someone walking in the middle of the road because there's no sidewalk. They could have been walking on a sidewalk, but instead they were in the street. So is anyone planning on getting on this or what? Still lots of people walking IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Still no reason HALF of Ladies Mile has a sidewalk from Edgewood to North but NOTHING from Edgewood to Chamberlayne. Do people only walk from Edgewood to North? What if I wanted to walk SAFELY from Edgewood to the park by Chamberlayne? What if I want to walk to Chamberlayne to catch the GRTC there instead of on North? What if I don't want to hit people walking in the middle of the road? Why does the whole rest of the neighborhood have sidewalks?
