Description

The mature Pine tree, growing on the RVA easement, approximately 20 inches from the paved surface of Longview Drive, is wide enough to obscure South bound cars and bicyclists from the sight-line of motorists stopped at the South and Longview Drive intersection. I ask the RVA Forestry Division to determine if this tree is growing in an appropriate location. Does this Pine tree pose any public safety issues for motorists and bicyclists who travel in the South-bound lane of Longview Drive? The mature Pine tree, growing in close proximity to the paved surface of Longview Drive is included in the City of Richmond, Virginia, Urban Forestry Division, Tree Inventory. See attached image.
