Description

High Vis Crosswalk or Stop Bar at Douglasdale and S. Belmont - Possible adding a stop sign to the median. Cars are consistently running that stop sign on Douglasdale.

    MFR -- Please ignore my comment at 3:15pm today. Amy - This intersection is an all-way stop (Ordinance No. 2004-024-77) and the pavement markings (stop bar and parallel crosswalks) are in good shape.The City Transportation Engineer reserves high visibility crosswalks for traffic signals and near schools. I don’t recommend a median stop sign. We have Stop Ahead signs on Douglasdale now in both directions. No reported crashes in the last six years. TAB
