Description
The drainage ditch/alley behind the houses on Tuckahoe and Greenway (between St. Giles and Patterson) needs some significant maintenance. Weeds have grown unchecked for years and have become trees while invading property and damaging fences. Soil is eroding and is eating away at backyards. I’m not sure what volume of water runs through this ditch, but is there any way to have it converted into a narrow alley like those that run through the rest of the two neighborhoods? I’m not even sure that Do Why has my request not been addressed? It was submitted 11 months ago. There is so much growth in the alley now. Weeds are growing up and around our fence. Because we have no way to access the alley, and its current conditions make it unsafe to access, we cannot address the growth. This needs to be addressed immediately.
