Description

Need a COR tree limb pruned; just missed hitting her vehicle in the front of address. Caller states a contractor did come out a few months ago..tree is causing damage to her house etc. and is constantly dropping branches; caller concerned of the tree falling. Caller states the tree has large roots that are running up under her fence causing damage to her yard and also the roots is a tripping hazard.

    Response from Arborist S. Lilly: I spoke with Ms. Gaines this morning. She was agitated but we had a respectful discussion. I explained to her that the tree is in very good condition, and that othersthat were recently removed were not. The pruning that’s taking place is already a bit of an acquiescence on my part, but I agreed to do so in order to make sure that was nothing that could be even remotely considered hazardous left on this tree. Hermain complaint is simply that the tree is big and that she’s scared of it. I’m not sure that having another talk with her will alleviate that concern. Sam Lilly City Arborist

    Citizen called this morning stating no one had been out to do anything this morning to the tree. Citizen claims she never talked to the Arborist. Spoke with Arborist S. Lilly and he stated Davey Tree should be out sometime today to prune the tree.

    Called Ms. Marsha Gaines back @804-321-4527 to let her know per the Arborist, the contractor should be out there some time today to prune the tree. She did not answer and her mail box was full. 804-321-4527.
