Description

DPW recently did work on our alley, but the work is not satisfactory. The workers must have run out of gravel, since almost two feet width on both sides of the alley consist only of sand and dirt. These areas are already flooding with any rain. This work is not representative of what DPW can do - as evidenced by the fact that our alley next door was repaired completely with gravel extending the full width of their alley at the same time. Additionally, the Crenshaw end of the alley has a steep drop-off between the gravel alley and the street, which needs to be filled in to avoid vehicle damage.
