- Staff · August 13, 2019An email I sent 8/12/2019 Thank you! The municipal tree policy that’s posted on the city’s website clearly states under Section 5A, Easements Dedicated and Unimproved Streets the following: “It shallbe the responsibility of the property owner to maintain easement trees. The tree at the above address falls into this category. The city does not maintain alley/ easement trees. Today, I left a door hanger at 3314 N St with my phone number andI have not heard a response. Do you have the residents contact information? I’m happy to communicate the ordinance to the resident if need be. Thanks!

- Staff · January 28, 2020Citizen, Mr. Randall Walter called 804-699-0000 stating that a tree behind his house is a City tree and he should not be responsible to take it down. He stated it has been confirmed by code enforcement Charlie Rose that the tree is a City Tree. He would like to meet with the Arborist along with Mr. Charlie Rose to discuss the tree.
- Staff · January 29, 2020Operations manager John Chupek and Arborist Michael Staton met with the resident today and explained the land survey placed this tree on private property.
