The Carytown Merchants Association will be applying for a permit to plant new trees. We would like to confirm the health of the following trees: DEAD TREES: 2 total 1 tree in the front of 3210 W Cary St (in front of Cary St Vet Hospital) 1 tree in the front of 3310 W Cary St (in front of Dog Crazy) Dying Trees: 3 total 3224 W Cary St. 2930 W Cary St. 2820 W Cary St.

    In response to an email request for an update today, Janine Lester replied: Trees have been removed. Sidewalks division has been notified that tree wells need to be opened for stump grinding and tree planting. 5th District liason is working through the details with DPW.
