Description
A number of close calls have been reported at this intersection by residents who complain about poor visibility coming into the intersection. Residents request an extension of the No Parking zone in order to create a high visibility intersection to protect pedestrians and drivers. In the comments section of DPW000029095 the engineer suggests that a traffic light at this intersection would be appropriate, but there is no funding. A high viz intersection could be considered instead. Attached photo gives an example of a legally parked car that still greatly obstructs the view for drivers and pedestrians.

- Staff · August 1, 2019he No Parking zone on Grove has been extended. Crosswalks are justified based on need however the gaps in traffic must be present to proceed with the markings. A traffic signal will provide the gaps but it is unfunded at this time.
