Description
Northrop Street is a short, dead-end street off of Roanoke, in the Forest Hill area of Richmond. This is an active neighborhood with lots of pedestrian activity (children, dogwalkers, etc.). Often people mistake the the dead-end for a cut through and race down the street at unsafe speeds. Also, there is a church on the corner of Roanoke and Northrop that generates a lot of traffic throughout the week. We need a speed bump or two to calm down the dangerous traffic before someone gets hurt.

- Staff · July 18, 2019Northrop St is approximately 900’ long. An existing 25mph sign exists once motorists come onto Northrop from Roanoke St. Two dead end (no outlet) signs exist. A six year crash history did not reveal any reported crashes. No additional measures are planned.
