Description
I use this intersection daily, eastbound on McDonough. This intersection has a Stop sign for traffic traveling north/south on W 26th St. But regularly, drivers stop at that stop sign and as I am entering the intersection, they pull out as if they think I also have a stop sign. Today a car sped through without even applying brakes. Requesting either an all way stop or increased police presence to ticket drivers who run the existing stop sign. Thanks for considering.

- Staff · June 24, 2019All all-way stop installations must meet the conditions set forth in the MUTCD. This is a Federal manual that all traffic engineers must use. This intersection does not meet the conditions. A six year crash study did not reveal any reported crashes. Two STOP signs exist on 26th St eastbound. A shop order will be prepared to replace the stop bars on 26th St.
