Description
The pedestrian signal to allow peds to cross N or S over Grove Ave at Malvern and all corners at N Hamilton St and Grove Ave need to AUTOMATICALLY signal to walk WITH the traffic signal. Drivers have nearly run over pedestrians who are legally crossing with the light but did not get to the button in time to activate the pedestrian signal. We have the right of way when crossing with the light. The signals to cross over Malvern at Grove ARE automatic. Please address the signals to cross Grove!

- Staff · July 24, 2019This is an older ticket but we revisited the location to verify continued functionality. All push buttons work. We replaced push button instruction signs we the newer expanded text versions. There is no reason to put walks in recall. This could slow traffic. Automatic push button calls is for special circumstances where the timing of the intersection will allow it.
