Description

A hole has opened up in the pavement. The actual hole is probably about 6 inches in diameter but there is a larger depression that surrounds the hole that is probably a couple feet in diameter. When you look in the hole, you can see that there is a void that extends at least a few feet deep. The soil that was supporting the road has gone somewhere so you may want to investigate whether there is any damage to underground utilities that could be in the street to see if soil could be eroding.
