Description

Urgent Request . . . . Please cut down and remove diseased tree and stump. Large limbs continuously falls causing major damage to automobile and property. Street roots have pushed the sidewalk making it difficult to walk in area and is a potential accident hazard. Sidewalk needs to be replaced due to damage caused by the tree roots. Immediate Response is required. This tree is currently dropping large limps. Fortunately no one was walking near the tree at that time and the limps didn't fall on my car or anyone else. I received a call in July and was informed that this tree would be cut down. It is now November and nothing has been done. For my safety and the safety of others in my neighborhood would you PLEASE cut this tree down NOW before someone IS HURT OR PROPERTY IS DAMAGED. Thank You! Tuesday, November 12, 2019 ..... Citizen called to check on status of removing a tree that is dropping limbs and doing damage to her vehicle. Citizen stated that her neighbor actually called for her previously. Ms. Almaz Gebre 703-304-7158.

I spoke with Ms. Gebre and let her know that due to the size of the tree and its location near utility wires that the tree was on my list to be removed by a contractor. I told her that I couldn’t promise an exact timeframe but that I would mark it as a priority so that our contractor would address the tree early in their rotation. Thanks, Sam Lilly City Arborist
