Description

Good morning, Citizen Cindy Wofford(804-928-5395) lives on the 1600 block of Monument Ave. She states the city is planting trees along Monument but they are planting the wrong trees. They are supposed to be all the same. She is very upset regarding the trees and feels that now it will be a use of inadequate time and money spent to fix the issue. Ms. Wofford would like to speak with someone as soon as possible regarding the trees. Please call. Thank you

    Spoke with Ms. Wofford by phone about the importance of species diversity in managing the economic and environmental impacts of emerging invasive pests, such as ALB. Trees selected will be of appropriate size and offer good fall color to preserve the aesthetic of Monument Avenue.
