- System · June 7, 2019Ms. Rogers called our office because she has been trying to get the City to complete easement overgrowth maintenance in the back of the 900 block of State Street. Ms. Rogers explained that someone from the City came out and cut the overgrowth behind this block but stopped at 907 State Street. Ms. Rogers is requesting the City to complete easement maintenance in the back of the homes, which consists of 907 – 915 State Street. Ms. Rogers also stated that a fence has fallen onto the easement in the back of her neighbor’s yard at 913 State Street. The fence has been down for quite some time, and the overgrowth that has not been maintained by the city is starting to take over the fence. Ms. Rogers explained that she has spoken with several people since March and feels that her complaint is getting lost between several departments.
- Staff · September 23, 2019Response from Arborist on 6/7/19: Hey! The back of the property is a right of way for the power company. There is no service road, etc. This is not an Urban Forestry issue. I took pictures ofthe property I’ll upload to city works on Monday. I left a voicemail for the resident and left a door hanger. I’ll update city works and everyone when I hear a response.
- Staff · September 25, 2019Response from Arborist M. Staton 9-25-19 9:16 AM. Closing ticket: We’re done with this as an Urban Forestry issue. This area affected is a project Parks is working on. Thanks!
