Description
Stop sign requested at Venable Street. and N 22nd Street. There is a consistent high volume of traffic as it is along a major commuter route, which is used by cars, buses, commercial vehicles, and pedestrians. It creates an extremely unsafe environment for the residents, especially children and pets

- Staff · May 9, 2019he intersection of Venable Street and 22nd Street does not meet the conditions set forth for all way stops found in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). All streets open to public travel must comply with the standards in the MUTCD. A six year crash study revealed one reported crash at this intersection. The Department of Public Works (DPW) will plan to install speed limit signs on Venable Street in each direction of travel.MFR - Please prepare a work order as noted in my email. TAB
