Description

The section of sidewalk is partially unpaved and very uneven with many broken loose bricks scattered. Many VCU students ride their bike on the sidewalk and I've witnessed multiple accidents where they crashed and injured themselves due to the loose bricks. In addition, the uneven sidewalk is holding water during and after rain. The puddle is wide and deep, it forces pedestrians to walk on the street in rainy weather. There were at least two reported accidents involving pedestrians.

This location stretches from S. Belvidere street to S. Pine Street. On one side of the street grass has overtaken the brick sidewalk. There is also a few sections where the bricks are missing.
