Description
Street Scapes provide safer, revitalization & slows flow of traffic at intersection of Northbound at Belt Boulevard to E. Broad Rock Road to Holly Springs Rd. (5 Points) There is a beautiful community garden located at the intersection of E. Broad Rock Road and Holly Springs. That area needs to have traffic circle to slow down flow of traffic. Please review this request strategically for remediation, safety and revival beautification of this residential community. Thank you. A streetscape (landscaped) roundabout at the intersection of Belt Blvd. & Broad Rock Road in front of McGuire Veteran's Hospital. Pedestrian cross walks from Belt to cross over to McGuire Hospital and cross walk lines along Broad Rock Road to Holly Springs Rd. will provide for public safety to GRTC Bus Stops for Southbound and Northbound. Thank you. Stop signs added to E. Broad Rock Road by GRTC bus stops for residential community & pedestrian crossings. Motorists are traveling exceedingly fast in this community. Please review and provide a traffic study for and between Holly Springs Ave. and 36th Street on E. Broad Rock Road. There is only one traffic signal north at Holly Springs Rd. Also, residents are parking their cars up on the curb of City property and/or the front of their lawns. Any courtesy you can extend for resolution and updates would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration. Dear Public Works; Motorists are exceeding the speed limit which is 35 mph northbound and southbound on E. Broad Rock Road between Holly Springs Road and Belt Blvd. Public Safety in this residential area and community is at a high risk for vehicle and/or pedestrian fatalities. There needs to be a diversion and plan in which street scapes can be created, placed and designed to slow down and minimize the risks of hitting pedestrians or parked cars in this residential community. Any courtesy you can extend to address this issue and provide an update would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know what our community can do to keep this location safe. Thank you. Thank you for your response to the nature of this request. Please share an update and status of this project, any progress, when it will commence and/or be completed. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
