Hi Camden, I’ve copied several city staff members on this email to help assess and address the concern. Has it been reported through RVA311 yet? If not, please do so ASAP (link below). I’ve a decent idea of where you are talking but I would like you to confirm by looking at the attached image. Thank you, Amy

Good afternoon Amy, I am sorry to bother you on a Sunday. I am writing with a "who do I call" question. There is a white oak tree in the park across the alley from the houses that we own in the cul de sac at the end of 33rd street. i have been monitoring its lean for a couple of years now and it seems to have moved (leaned) substantially in the winds from hurricane michael. I tied a red flag on a limb over the alley a couple of years ago. i prunedthe limb up so that the garbage and recycling trucks could pass under it. at that point the flag was approximately 14 feet above the alley. the tree has leaned enough that the flag is 10 or 11 feet above the alley and the trucks passing under are hitting and breaking off additional limbs. the tree is in forest hill park. it is leaning over the wires for the city street lights in the alley. the lean is getting to the point where a substantialwind will blow it over. if it falls, it will hit our fence, two large japanese maples in the back of our house, the swimming pool canopy and possible the corner of the house (726 west 33rd). last year the tree concerned me but now its falling seems imminent. Do I call parks and rec, the city arborist, or the street light folks at public works? i would appreciate your advice. thank you camden whitehead 800 west 33rd street
