Description
The manhole cover in the inbound (East) lane of Forest Hill at the on ramp to Powhite PkwyNorth is several inches below the surface of the pavement. It has been this way for months since the street was last re-paved. It was not reset to be level with the pavement as required. It is a significant traffic hazard in that it could cause a driver to lose control of his or her car, inflict severe damage on motor vehicles, or cause cyclist of whom the city is so fond to lose control and crash.
