Description
When the 3000 block of East Broad Street was repaved, it was not graded properly, so stormwater pools on half of the block closest to the intersection of East Broad and 31st Streets. The actual drain at the corner is also too small and gets clogged easily. It cannot drain quickly enough to keep up with steady rain, let alone heavy rain. The result is standing water as deep as six inches overtaking the sidewalk and lapping like waves against the retaining walls in front of houses when cars pass.
